I wish the best for my great brother, Nana Akufo-addo; I'm talking to people in America about supporting Ghana and Nana Akufo-Addo. We are behind you all the way, and I've been behind my brother, even before he thought of running for President. I believe I was the first person, (when we were both studants at Lagon), and I told him he would one day be President and that I would work for him 100%. And I will.
I wish the best for my great brother, Nana Akufo-addo; I'm talking to people in America about supporting Ghana and Nana Akufo-Addo. I believe I was the first person, (when we were both studants at Lagon), and I told him he would one day be President and that I would work for him 100%. And I will. I've spoken to members of the victorious team of Democratic party members here and I am presently working with them to form a special status, to work directly with Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP after victory their. We are presently working on some ideas that may greatly improve Ghana's financial development.
I am presently working on addressing some of Nana Akufo-Addo's projected programs after the victory that will be confirmed in the December 28th voting. People in America are stopping me and saying they hear he is a great man, which of course I confirm. Our brother, Nana, has indicated that he would like to see every farmer with access to irrigation by 2015. Here in Iowa we want to make certain that goal is accomplished with time to spare. We want to establish a special status with Ghana and the State of Iowa; we want to see Ghana and Iowa working together in a Fraternal relationship; especially working on developing corporate farming in Ghana (large scale, 2000 acres) which is where Iowa is leading in corn farming technology. We are also working on setting up bio-diesel plants in Ghana to produce diesel fuel from palm oil, and we will be bringing in and assembling irrigation equipment as well as generators in Ghana, through a Ghanaian Ltd. As Nana Akufo Addo has said; the time for Ghana's brave new world has begun; he will lead Ghana into its membership in the 'First World.'
Nana Akufo-Addo
In the early morning darkness, on Sunday, December 21st; I got up very early, before dawn, and was meditating, and at the end of my meditation, I thought of Nana Akufo-Addo, and from, first in Ghana, as early as 1967, when, (as a student at the University of Ghana, Lagon, in Mensah Sarbah Hall, room B52, when I told him he would one day become president of Ghana, and that I would be with him in spirit, and in deed, and looking at him on an early Sunday morning, on December 21st, from America, meditating, in Des Moines, Iowa; as Obama, the U.S. President elect said, (it began for him “in the streets of Des Moines,”) I think of Nana Akufo-Addo, on a street in Des Moines, and he still looks so good; looking at him, one must come to believe, truly believe in God, because he, (Nana Akufo-Addo), still looks so good. After dawn, when I turned on the radio, the first words I heard were from a pastor reading from Deuteronomy chapter 18, verses 9-22 and it was as if the pastor was speaking to me directly. It was as if in 1967 at Lagon, God had been speaking through me when I told Nana Akufo-Addo he would one day become the President of Ghana. It was as if even then as two students, I saw how great this man would one day become. Even now I can feel my brother’s good hand, and I can see, even a divided house will serve his good purposes. He is a gift to Ghana; our asagafo; our voice of joy and we should rejoice in his works. Watch him closely and you will see Nana Akufo-Addo will be perfect before the Lord.
Nana Akufo Addo has encouraged us; all who support him and the NPP; this encludes those who began by voting for other candidates, but now see who is the true leader of Ghana; the man who thinks and sees with a grasp of the future, Nana Akufo-Addo. Nana Addo has encouraged us to become BIG, to turn our minds to Believe In Ghana. We must all believe in Ghana and Ghana's future; that is the way we will grow and become successful. We must all understand it is our time to become BIG, because we have the opportunity to vote for a BIG LEADER, Nana Akufo-Addo. Understand, with a leader like him who sees the future more profoundly than any person in Ghana, or in the world, we can become BIG., really BIG. And if we are truly BIG, we cannot be brought down by the small minded; by negative thinkers who want power more than they desire democracy, true progress and a democratic victory. The best way to become BIG is to truly believe you are BIG; to believe in truth, in democracy and universal values. Everyone who votes for the NPP becomes BIG by voting for a BIG man; by voting for Nana Akufo-Addo. Those that vote for Nana Akufo-Addo become BIG by desiring a place in the future, a place in the First World, good jobs, and a country that will invite success and business through integraty.
Our Leader’s Charisma
I was thinking what is the one thing that makes Nana Akufo-Addo so much better equipped to be President of Ghana; I thought for a moment and I concluded his charisma; yes he has a great mind, yes he can see the future better than we can, yes he knows what Ghana needs now, and as it develops into the First World economy he will lead Ghana into, but his charisma is his salient political advantage. Charisma comes from a Greek word which means to rejoice and certainly Ghana must rejoice that it has a leader with the caliber and background of Nana Akufo-Addo. But charisma is a spiritual gift and a spiritual talent that is thought of as being divinely granted, in other words it is a gift from God that only a very few have, that all politicians wish to have, but 99.9% do not have. It is a gift from God that only men like Mendela, Nkrumah, Martin Luther King, Gandhi and Buddha had. It is a spiritual gift, a token of grace and favor given by God; it is the magic of leadership which engenders a special popularity and enthusiasm (a rejoicing) from those who have been struck by the leader’s magic, who believe in the leader who possesses that special magnetic charm, who is able to bring forward political solutions that are intrinsically correct, yet above the leader’s gift of charisma. Ghana has been given a gift; a man with the charisma to draw success to Ghana. Nana Akufo-Addo can make Ghana and the Ghanaians who support him, and believe in him, successful.
THE GIFT
On these days after Christmas I contemplate the gift Nana Akufo-Addo is for the voters of Ghana. The Gift all of you must go out to claim on Sunday, December 28th. He is first a man of perception, someone who can understand the needs of the country; the needs of all of its people, and how those needs can be achieved. His objective is to lead Ghana down a path that will make Ghana a First World economy and that is a very complex and demanding goal; we need a man who understands the mechanisms of a First World economy intimately. He can build the engine that will drive the car that will get Ghana to its First World economic goal without leaving any parts out. He is a master politician that will allow Parliament to become a productive entity in passing the unified majority sponsored legislation necessary to the progress of the country. He is a man with the kind of charisma necesary to bring leaders like newly elected President Obama to Ghana's cause. He is a man with vision, a gift to Ghana.
