    Who is to blame?

Noone can blame the NPP government for this. Hopefully a lasting solution can be found soon.

    Re: Who is to blame?

Day in day out I listen to people blaming NPP for the energy crisis. However when somebody decided that send power by heart out to villages, people did not advise that such a policy has its problems. When someone spends 19 years in office and build a plant that relies on oil, then I will feel very comfortable where to point my fingers at. Acheampong proved that a hydro dam is not difficult to build. He initiated and built Kpong between 1972-1978 when he left power. A sod has just been cut commencing work on the Bui dam. Did some of them not say the Bui dam should be abandoned? Now they support it. What kind of politics is this?

After our victory in 2008, Ghanaians should prepare to see the road towards nuclear power. We have the resources. We can do it.
