One who can guide the country to true democratic principles, sound economic  polices and financial freedom for all Ghanaians.

2) QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED:

One who is competent with ability to do the job and have wisdom gained through long and varied observation in life.

3) UNIFIER:

One  who can bring the country together by binding and consolidating all ethnic groups in Ghana as one nation with a common goal.

4)TOILED WITH PARTY AT HEART:        

One who has worked long and hard and have pity for the party and country.

5) POPULAR & MARKETABLE:

One who is admired, flamboyant, sellable and with international recognition.

6) VISION & ELOQUENT:

One who can plan wisely, have foresight , understanding, is expressive and persuasive.

7) MISSION OF HOPE:

One who will dedicate his time to instill confidence, perseverance, challenge and achievement to all Ghanaians to give them HOPE, hope of a better future.

8) TRUSTWORTHY:

One who is principled reliable, loyal honest sensible and seeks equal justice for all.

 9) WINNER:

One who can compete, prevail and obtain VICTORY for the party.

10) GOD FEARING:

One who is religious, loving and applies "the golden rule" and obey God's commandment.

 

 

 

 

    

I think i agree with Maxwell criteria of a presidential candidate and those principles must be adhered to by the over a dozen aspirants who want to lead the NPP.I will even like  to suggest that, the NPP USA should make a copy of the criteria and sent to the aspirants to know and even educate their followers on it. When this is done they must also be urged to stop slinging the mud and let their supporters abide by the "Dont sling the mud" principle. Fact is that, it is only one candidate who will at the end lead the NPP we dont for now know who will lead the party that is why it is very crucial for us to discourage ranning our veryselves done. May i use this platform to commend the NPPUSA on coming out with such a wonderful site.It should not be allowed to collapsed it must be updated regularly and show fairness for now to all the aspirants. Well thought out criteria but the tenth criterion seems to have eliminated the Veep because as a moslem he does not subscribe to the ten commandments.

Your criteria is a textbook case and in a situation of this nature every aspirant will tell you that he meets them. All the candidates who have expressed interest in the presidency exhibit various degrees of the qualities listed.

Personally, I want to see from the best candidate a program that identifies Ghana's short and long term needs and method or strategy to be adopted for implementation, evaluation and expected achievements within the first 4-year term. Such a presentation will encompass the individual's capabilities utilizing the criteria you have set out and exposes his strengths and weaknesses. It is on the basis of this that we can see the true leader.
